Ferrum was pleased to join fellow members of the Elgin Area Chamber of Commerce at a recent meet-and-greet welcoming Lindsay Tintera, the Chamber’s new President and Chief Executive Officer.
Hosted by Rieke Interiors, the event gave local business leaders an opportunity to meet Lindsay, reconnect with one another, and celebrate the next chapter for the Chamber. Who is Lindsay Tintera?
Lindsay Tintera was appointed President and CEO of the Elgin Area Chamber of Commerce following an extensive search by the Chamber’s Board of Directors.
She brings a strong marketing and business-development background to the role. Previously, she served as Vice President of Marketing for a local insurance brokerage, where she built partnerships, led strategic initiatives, and supported organizational growth. Tintera also serves as Board Chair of Shelter Youth & Family Services, reflecting her commitment to local leadership and community service.
The Chamber selected Tintera for her leadership experience, community engagement, and dedication to helping businesses grow throughout the Elgin area.

Her leadership leaves a strong base for the Chamber’s next chapter, and she will remain involved part-time to support the transition.
